The Village Big Band plays big band arrangements in both dance and concert venues.
Persons interested in joining, should contact leader, Bill Morgan.
Rehearsals are weekly in Hot Springs Village.

The Hot Springs Flute Ensemble

The Hot Springs Flute Ensemble performs original compositions and transcriptions for an ensemble of flutes and specialty flutes. The Music Director and Founder is Dr. Jackie Flowers. The conductor is Kristen Grant. Rehearsals are held in Hot Springs.

The New Horizons Band

The New Horizons Band is a group ideal for the individual of any age that would either like to learn an instrument, hasn't played in years or might just like to play again in a band, but without the performance schedule or experience expectations of the Concert Band. Bill Crook is our current conductor of the group. Rehearsals can and do include musical and instrument instruction by the conductor or members of the Hot Springs Concert Band in a supportive atmosphere. The band performs in a variety of venues around the Hot Springs area.

The Hot Springs Brass

The Hot Springs Brass is an ensemble of five brass players who perform music scored for from three to five players. Performances include recitals, church services and other venues appropriate for chamber brass.

The Hot Springs Horns

The Hot Springs Horns, were founded in 2005 by Julian Herring. They are an outgrowth of both the New Horizons Band and the Hot Springs Concert Band. They have and do perform for seasonal, civic, church and private events.

The Village Carillons

The Village Carillons are a community based handbell choir that present programs for holiday banquets, church functions and Christmas Festivals. The members come from a variety of church congregations although the group is one of only two hand bell choirs in Arkansas not affiliated with a specific church. The director is Becky Harvey.

Rehearsals are held from 1:00-3:p.m. on Thursdays in the Fellowship Hall of Christ Lutheran Church on Ponferrada Way. Please contact Becky Harvey at 501-922-4322 for participation in this group and/or scheduling a performance of The Village Carillons.

The Village Dixielanders

The Village Dixielanders are drawn from members of the Village Big Band. They perform at a variety of functions and venues in the Central Arkansas area ranging from concerts with the HSCB, to conventions, receptions and area church services.

The Hot Springs Village Polka Dots

The Village Polka Dots were formed in 2006 to provide the Hot Springs Area with Old-Time Music for your Dancing and Listening Pleasure. We play your favorite Polkas, Waltzes, Laendlers, Schottisches, and Marches.

The Hot Springs Village Saxophone Quartet

The Hot Springs Village Saxophone Quartet was formed in December, 2007, to provide an additional outlet for saxophonists in the Hot Springs Concert Band. The group made its debut at the annual Christmas ensemble concert at the Arlington Hotel in downtown Hot Springs.
